(June 28, 2023 / JNS) The Israeli Police arrested 15 Palestinians on the Temple Mount Wednesday who waved Hamas flags and hung a banner featuring images of terrorists.
The sign and flags were unfurled at the end of morning prayers marking the holiday of Eid al-Adha.
(June 28, 2023 / JNS) The European Palestinians Conference, held in Malmö, Sweden on May 27, had clear and strong connections with Hamas, including through conference chairman Amin Abu Rashid. Before the conference, it was reported that several members of parliament from Sweden’s Green Party, Left Party and Social Democratic Party would be participating in the conference.
(June 28, 2023 / JNS) U.S. State Department spokesman Matthew Miller confirmed on Monday that the United States would be freezing scientific and technological cooperation with Israeli entities in areas over the 1949 armistice line, i.e., in Judea, Samaria, the Golan Heights and parts of Jerusalem. Take one: two terrorists invade a Hummus Eliyahu, a popular eatery, firing wildly. Just 10 minutes earlier, a class of “Mechinists,” gap-year students, had been eating there happily.
They left in time and remain alive, miraculously. Before a member of a local civilian security patrol appeared and bravely shot back, killing one terrorist while sustaining two bullet wounds, the murderers killed four people: Elisha Antman, 17, Harel Masoud, 21, Ofer Fairman, 60, and Nachman Shmuel Mordoff, 17.

Israel and an armed Palestinian group in Gaza used a small number of children as human shields in 2022, according to the newly released United Nations report on Children and Armed Conflict.
The UN verified the recruitment and use of 4 Palestinian children (3 boys, 1 girl) by Israeli forces as human shields (3) and by the Nasser Sarah al-Din Brigades (1) as combatants in the occupied West Bank (3) and the Gaza Strip (1),” stated the report released on Tuesday afternoon in New York.

Israel recently helped the UAE fend off a serious DDoS (distributed denial of service) cyberattack, UAE cyber chief Muhammad al-Kuwaiti said on Tuesday.
Speaking at the Tel Aviv Cyber Week Conference, he said, “Thank God for the Abraham Accords... Cybersecurity is an important aspect for us all. We in the UAE for example are going through a great digital transformation. A transformation across all sectors: aviation, education, healthcare, oil and gas, transportation. And, in fact, we need to do a safe and secure transformation.”
National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir called young settlers who torched a number of Palestinian villages after a deadly terrorist attack in Eli last week "sweet boys," during a meeting on Tuesday with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar, IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi, Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer, and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, according to Israeli reports.
An Israeli team of artistic swimmers won the gold medal on Friday at the 2023 European Games in Oswiecim, Poland, near the site of the former Auschwitz concentration camp.
The 11-person female team took home the top honor in the team free routine combination finals, marking Israel’s first-ever European gold and second European team medal overall, according to the European Games. The team swam to the theme of “Modern Spanish Dance” and became European champions with a score of 248.6083, while their performance was also awarded the full Degree of Difficulty (DD) of 35.0.

(May 17, 2023 / JNS) The U.S. State Department was determined to prevent the establishment of a Jewish state, opposing both partition and recognition. After it failed, diplomats spent decades trying to prevent the development of an alliance. Before the Trump administration, much of its effort was devoted to forcing Israel back to the 1949 armistice lines. Now, State wants to return to the partition idea, fantasizing about creating a Palestinian state that it knows will seek to replace the Jewish state.
What do discussions about Hamas, Kanye West, and Covid have in common? Well, they seem to trigger antisemites.
The conflict between Palestinian terrorist groups and Israel, the pandemic, vaccinations, lockdowns, and celebrity antisemitic statements were some of the prominent causes of an increase in antisemitic messages on Twitter and other social media platforms.
On at least two occasions during the past week, Tunisia’s president has angrily denied the claim that the deadly attack gun attack last Tuesday against a historic synagogue on the island of Djerba was motivated by antisemitism, in comments that will likely amplify existing concerns about the attitude of the authorities to the country’s tiny Jewish community.
A 70-page sexual assault lawsuit filed Monday against Rudy Giuliani includes allegations that the former New York City mayor also repeatedly made derogatory comments about Jews.
