Former Iranian President Muhammad Hatami urged Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and former Palestinian prime minister Ismail Haniyeh to seek a diplomatic solution for the recent Hamas-Fatah conflict.
„The regrettable news of the (Palestinian) conflict hurts the heart of every Muslim and jeopardizes the identity of the ‚fighting Palestinian‘ , which has proved very effective over 60 years of resistance,“ said the letter.

    1. SPECTATOR Gaza: another front in Iran’s war
      Melanie Phillips
This continued delusion is further preventing the West from grasping that the war against Israel is merely one front in a far bigger war against the free world, in which Iran is the major player. Iran now controls Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon, and is wreaking havoc in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The true significance of Hamastan, therefore, is that it strengthens Iran still further in its 28-year jihad against the West. And since Hamas is now an Iranian proxy, its agenda is transparently no longer a Palestinian state but the Islamist onslaught upon the whole free world.
Yet in Britain, elements within the Foreign Office and intelligence establishment are pushing ‘engagement‘ with Hamas, even though its agenda is totally non-negotiable. Its charter doesn’t merely commit it to eradicating Israel, but is a declaration of war against the entire Jewish people, with demented Nazi-style ravings about the world Jewish conspiracy.

  7. YAHOO! – Iranisches Fernsehen plant englischsprachigen Sender

  18. Bloomberg – Iran Rations Gasoline, Sparks Protest in Tehran (Update3)
    By Marc Wolfensberger
A mob burn and loot a gas station in northern Tehran June 27  — Iranians rioted in the streets of Tehran after the government imposed rationing of gasoline, which the country spends $5 billion a year to import.
Starting today, drivers will be allowed 100 liters, or about 26 gallons, of gasoline a month, Oil Minister Kazem Vaziri-Hamaneh said on state television. Taxis will get 800 liters. Lawmakers said earlier this month drivers would probably get five or six liters a day, 50 percent more than the program actually grants them.
„At least“ five filling stations in Tehran were burned and damaged following the announcement, Nasser Raissi-Far, the head of Tehran province’s filling station union, told state-run Mehr news.
Although Iran holds the world’s second-biggest energy reserves, it imports more than 40 percent of the gasoline it uses. Demand is buoyed by subsidies while supply is restricted by waste and lack of refinery capacity. Service stations in Iran sell the fuel at 1,000 Iranian rials a liter, about 42 U.S. cents a gallon.
