    President
    Shell Oil Co.
    P.O. Box 2463
    Houston, TX 77252
    (713) 241-6161
    Dear Mr. Hofmeister,
It has come to our attention that Shell recently signed a $10 billion contract with the terrorist government of Iran.
We don’t need to remind you that the Iranian regime is oppressing 70 million people and has been one of the primary sponsors of terrorism for almost thirty years. The terrorist government of Iran controls some of the most notorious Islamic terrorist groups, and the Iranian president has threatened to wipe Israel, our only reliable ally in the Middle East, off the map. Not to mention that Iran is racing towards obtaining nuclear weapons.
When you were in Omaha on February 16, 2007 you stated that „Once it [oil] gets into the global trading market, it’s just oil. Whether it’s sourced from Venezuela or Mexico or Canada, it’s really hard to track it. It can be tracked, and it’s very hard, and most people don’t track it.“ We agree, it is hard to track oil after it gets mixed. But you know what is easy? You can be 100% sure that an oil pipeline does not contain any oil from Iran if you do not import Iranian oil.
The terrorist government of Iran is complicit in some of the deaths of British and Dutch troops in Iraq. More than 150 of them were killed (http://icasualties .org/oif/ DeathsByYear. aspx) since 2003, and Shell’s blatant disregard for the loss of life of their countrymen is abhorrent.

  13. FrontPageMagazine The Fifth Column Left Rushes to Defend Iran
    By Thomas Ryan
The day after the United States celebrated its Independence, two American soldiers were killed in south Baghdad by an explosive projectile provided to Iraqi insurgents by Iran; in June, NATO officials caught Iran shipping heavy arms and C4 explosives to the Taliban in Afghanistan; earlier this year, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called for the annihilation of Israel. With these facts, there can be little doubt about Iran’s virulent intentions. However, as the evidence against the Islamic Republic mounts, so are the groups speaking out in its defense, and now those same people who so fervidly defended Saddam’s Iraq are once again working to protect another unholy terror.
In 2004, radical activist Medea Benjamin announced that her group Code Pink, which was started to seek the „end the war in Iraq,“ would help in donating a combined $600,000 in cash and medical supplies to the families of the terrorist insurgents who were fighting American troops in Fallujah. In recent months, Code Pink has begun a new campaign, titled „Prevent War with Iran!“ „In recent years,“ Code Pink’s website states, „the media has damaged Iran’s image so badly that when people hear the name of Iran, they only picture black chadors, terrorism, and ayatollahs. These stereotypes are being constructed to make it easier for governments to attack Iran with public approval.“ With this belief, the organization is distributing flyers urging individuals to call their Congress members to vote against a war with Iran. One Code Pink activist is currently on a hunger strike, following Senator Joe Lieberman’s expressed belief that the U.S. should be prepared to take „aggressive military action against the Iranians to stop them from killing Americans in Iraq.“

  14. MEMRIBLOG Iranian Supreme Leader Khamenei Associate: Bahrain Part Of Iran
The editor of the Iranian daily Kayhan, Hossein Shari’atmadari, who is close to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, harshly attacked the Gulf countries because their representatives claim that the three islands of Greater Tunb, Lesser Tunb, and Abu Moussa belong to the U.A.E., not Iran.
In his article, Shari’atmadari stated that these countries, „none of which are older than a century,“ were being run by „the forces of arrogance“ (i.e. the West and the U.S.) and that they were cooperating with Israel. He added that Bahrain was part of Iranian territory, separated from it by joint conspiracy of the deposed Shah Pahlavi, England, and the U.S., and that it must be returned to its owners.

  16. MEMRIBLOG Iranian Paper: Arab Heads Of State – Obstacle To Elimination Of Israel
In an editorial, the conservative Iranian daily Jomhouri-ye Eslami comes out against Saudi Arabia’s, Egypt’s, and Jordan’s support for Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, and attacks these countries‘ leaders‘ attitude towards Israel.
The paper states that supporting Abbas means conflict with Hamas, and aid to the Salam Fayyad government – which it calls a satellite of the Zionist regime.
The paper accuses the Arab heads of state of „taking orders from Washington“ and of preventing „the uprooting of the regime occupying Jerusalem, and the cancerous growth in the heart of the Islamic world.“
