Jeden Tag gab’s was Neues. Lauter Kleinkram.

    1. Wall Street Journal ElBaradei’s Real Agenda
by Danielle Pletka and Michael Rubin
On Friday, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Mohamed ElBaradei submitted a report on Iran’s nuclear program to the IAEA’s Board of Governors. It concluded that, barring „one major remaining issue relevant to the nature of Iran’s nuclear programme“ — including a mysterious „green salt project“ — Iran’s explanations of its suspicious nuclear activities „are consistent with [the IAEA’s] findings [or at least] not inconsistent.“
The report represents Mr. ElBaradei’s best effort to whitewash Tehran’s record. Earlier this month, on Iranian television, he made clear his purpose, announcing that he expected „the issue would be solved this year.“ And if doing so required that he do battle against the IAEA’s technical experts, reverse previous conclusions about suspect programs, and allow designees of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad an unprecedented role in crafting a „work plan“ that would allow the regime to receive a cleaner bill of health from the IAEA — so be it.

    6. NEWKERALA Iran’s president warns against ’new game‘ in nuclear dispute
Tehran, Feb 22 : Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad warned the world powers against a „new game“ in their nuclear dispute with his country, the Fars news agency reported Friday.
„Put an end to this game, but if you want to start a new game, you should know that if our nation decides something, then it will definitely be put into practice without the slightest concession,“ Ahmadinejad was quoted as saying.
The warning by the Iranian president came just before the presentation Friday of the latest International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) report on Iran’s nuclear projects.
Tehran is confident that IAEA Director General Mohamed ElBaradei’s report would be positive and confirm its claims that it is pursuing only civilian and peaceful nuclear programmes.

Teheran.

16. THE JERUSALEM POST   Report: Iranian nuke within months Rebecca Anna Stoil , Feb. 24, 2008
While a set of European-run simulations could indicate that Iran will be ready to build an atomic bomb sooner than anyone predicted, uranium enrichment is only one of three benchmarks the rogue nation will have to reach before it is ready to launch a nuclear attack against Tel Aviv, former National Security Council head Maj.-Gen. (res.) Giora Eiland told The Jerusalem Post on Saturday.
On Friday, Germany’s Der Spiegel newspaper reported on a computer simulation run at the European Commission Joint Research Centre (JRC) in Ispra, Italy, through which scientists modeled the uranium enrichment capabilities of centrifuges operating at Iran’s Natanz nuclear facility.
The results of those tests were not reassuring – showing that even if the centrifuges were operating at a mere 25 percent efficiency, Iran would possess enough enriched uranium to create an atomic device by the end of 2010.
But if the efficiency were 100% – and even if Iran has not (as it is believed to have) made improvements on the Pakistani-style centrifuges it operates – a sufficient quantity of enriched uranium to build a nuclear device could be ready by the end of 2008.

Iran’s active involvement in Hezbollah opened a slight crack in the organization’s clandestine shell, but this crack was to prove crucial. Mughniyah’s likely replacement: his protégé, Talal Hamiyah
    Dr. Yohai Sela (2/19/2008)
If Iran is truly shocked and disconsolate about the sudden death of Imad Mughniyah, it has only itself to blame, because the operational measures Iran took since the Second Lebanon War led to his exposure. It took Israel a long time to fully comprehend the significance of the last war that broke out because of a reckless gamble by Hassan Nasrallah and the military arm of the organization – which operates under Iranian tutelage. Until the war Hezbollah and Nasrallah built around themselves a threatening aura that managed to emasculate the Israeli response to them over many years (just as Iran and Ahmadinejad are currently doing in the psychological war against the West and Israel).
Despite the sense of missed opportunity over the results of the war, Israel made certain very important decisions that will influence the future of Hezbollah, and the man heading it, in both the short term and the long term:
