      Iran’s supreme leader rejected the Palestinians‘ U.N. statehood bid on Saturday, saying any deal that accepted the existence of Israel would leave a „cancerous tumor“ forever threatening the security of the Middle East.       
      As leader of a country under a long-standing threat of military action from Israel and the United States, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei warned the Jewish state and its allies to expect „paralyzing blows“ that a NATO missile shield could not prevent.
      „Any plan that seeks to divide Palestine is totally rejected,“ Khamenei told a conference on the Palestinian issue.       
      „The two-state scheme, which has been clad in the self-righteousness of the acceptance of the Palestinian government and membership at the United Nations, is nothing but a capitulation to the demands of the Zionists or the recognition of the Zionist regime on Palestinian land,“ he declared.

        Eine Zwei-Staaten-Lösung für Israel und Palästina lehnt der Iran kategorisch ab. Die Anerkennung Israels käme einem „Krebsgeschwür“ gleich, betonte Irans geistlicher Führer Ajatollah Ali Chamenei. Die gleichzeitige Existenz von Israel und Palästina sei eine „Kapitulation vor den Forderungen der Zionisten“.

        Der Iran stellt sich gegen den Antrag der Palästinenser auf Aufnahme in die UN und damit gegen die Zwei-Staaten-Lösung für den Nahen Osten. „Jeder Plan, der auf die Teilung Palästinas abzielt, wird komplett abgelehnt“, sagte der geistliche Führer Ajatollah Ali Chamenei am Samstag auf einer Palästina-Konferenz in Teheran. Die gleichzeitige Existenz Israels und eines Palästinenser-Staates bedeuteten nichts anderes als eine „Kapitulation vor den Forderungen der Zionisten oder die Anerkennung des zionistischen Regimes auf palästinensischem Boden“. Die Anerkennung der Existenz Israels käme einem „Krebsgeschwür“ gleich, das die Sicherheit der Region bedrohte.

        Israel’s prime minister responded by saying his country would respond to these „hateful“ remarks by redoubling its focus on security and its demands that it be recognised as a Jewish state.
        „Any plan which would lead to the division of Palestine is unacceptable,“ Ayatollah Ali Khamenei told an international conference, as the United Nations continues to mull a membership application filed by the Palestinian Authority.

        The conflict between Israel and the Palestinians could be resolved if Jewish immigrants would return to their countries of origin, thus allowing Palestinian refugees to return to theirs, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Sunday.

      Iran on Saturday dismissed renewed claims by the United Arab Emirates of three Islands controlled by the Islamic Republic in the Arabian Gulf, saying the islands „will remain [ours] forever,“ according to a report by the Fars News Agency on Saturday. 
      The Committee on National Security and Foreign Policy of the Iranian Shura Council denounced „UAE claims“ of sovereignty over the islands of Abu Musa, and the Greater and Lesser Tunbs.       
      Iran accused „foreign powers“ of pushing the UAE to renew its claims, reported Fars.       
      Committee spokesman Kazem Jalali criticized statements by UAE’s Foreign Minister Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan in New York last week.
      „This is an issue that was dictated on [the foreign minister] by foreign powers who want the Middle East to always be mired in conflict and tension,“ Jalali said. 

    3. BERNAMA – Iran To Unveil Explorer Spacecraft, Build Space Town
      TEHRAN (Bernama)– The head of Iran’s Space Agency Hamid Fazeli announced on Monday that the country will unveil an Explorer and build a space town in the near future, reports Fars News Agency. 
      Speaking to reporters at a press conference on the occasion of the Space Week here in Tehran on Monday, Fazeli said, „Scientists are conducting studies over an Explorer project and given the results gained from our studies and the tests done in this regard, we will soon announce the date for displaying this achievement once we are ascertained (of everything).“
      Elsewhere, he pointed to the country’s plan for building a space town, and said, „Last year a promise was made about the building of a space town. This project is receiving the needed permissions and is under planning.“
      He further praised the parliament’s cooperation with the country’s space industries, saying good measures have been adopted in expanding Iran’s space technology and science.
      „Despite the privatisation policies requiring the government to shrink in size, we will witness organisational growth in this field,“ the Iranian Space Agency chief said.
      He also said his agency is working on building joint satellite launch centres through cooperation with the Iranian defence industry and friendly states.

      Iran quietly hosted a delegation of Taliban members in Tehran this month, in a powerful and unusual signal of its ambition to shape the trajectory of the Afghan conflict as US troops begin to withdraw. 
      According to associates of Burhanuddin Rabbani, the former Afghan president who led the country’s reconciliation efforts, Iranian officials had hoped to facilitate a meeting between Dr Rabbani and the Taliban delegation at a conference in Tehran.       
      That did not happen, and days after attending the conference, Dr Rabbani was slain by a man posing as a Taliban negotiator. The two events do not appear to have been linked. 

    5. WORLD TRIBUNE –  Russia returns S-300 air defense deposit; Iran demands more cash
       NICOSIA — Russia has returned a down payment to Iran for the S-300PMU-1 air defense system.
      The Iranian Defense Ministry said Teheran received $167 million relayed to Moscow for five S-300 systems. The ministry, however, has sought compensation for Russia’s cancellation of the S-300 contract, valued at $800 million.
      „We have received our prepayment from Russia, but we have sent our complaint to the International Court of Arbitration for compensation,“ Iranian Defense Minister Ahmed Vahidi said.

      Krisenzeiten sind Härtetests für Freundschaften. Der weißrussische Diktator Lukaschenko, dessen Land vor dem Bankrott steht, weiß jetzt, dass er sich trotz der harten Kritik aus dem Westen auf seine guten Freunde verlassen kann. 
      Beispielsweise hilft ihm Irans Präsident Ahmadinejad mit 300 Millionen Euro aus der akuten Zahlungsnot. Natürlich nicht uneigennützig. Einerseits verbindet ihn mit Lukaschenko der Hass auf den Westen. Andererseits kann sich Ahmadinejad nun Hilfe in Form von Waffentechnologie erwarten.

    7. GREENPEACE MAGAZIN – Iran meldet Bedenken wegen Afghanistan-Konferenz an
      Teheran (dpa) – Der Iran hat Vorbehalte wegen der geplanten Afghanistan-Konferenz Anfang Dezember in Bonn angemeldet. «Diese Konferenz kann nur dann wirklich nützlich werden, wenn die wahren Vertreter Afghanistans und die Nachbarstaaten in eine Lösung der Probleme eingebunden werden», sagte der Sprecher des iranischen Außenministeriums, Ramin Mehmanparast, am Dienstag in Teheran. Falls wieder der Westen über die Zukunft Afghanistans bestimmen wolle, hätte die Konferenz keine große Bedeutung.
      «Ob beziehungsweise auf welcher politischen Ebene wir teilnehmen werden,hängt davon ab, wie seriös diese Konferenz geplant ist», sagte der Sprecher. Afghanistans Rolle sei für den Iran aus strategischer Sicht enorm wichtig. Die Konferenz mit mehr als 1000 Teilnehmern soll am 5. Dezember in Bonn stattfinden. Dazu eingeladen haben Außenminister Guido Westerwelle (FDP) und sein afghanischer Kollege Zalmai Rassoul gemeinsam.

      Iran’s supreme leader has called for „cutting off the traitorous hands“ of those implicated in a fraud case described as the biggest financial scam in the country’s history.        
      Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who has the final say in all matters of state in Iran, said on state TV Monday that there should no mercy for corrupt bank officials and others involved in the $2.6 billion scam.        
      The defendants allegedly used forged documents to obtain credit to purchase assets including state-owned companies.  

    2. PAYVAND – Iran’s treasury didn’t get oil revenue from India
       While Iran’s Ministry of Oil and Central Bank have announced on several occasions that India’s oil payments are up to date, the National Audit Organization says the treasury has not yet received the revenue from oil sales to India.
      Iran exports a daily average of 400 thousand barrels of oil to India. But in the past year, international sanctions against Iran have made it difficult to receive the revenue.
      India has delayed payments since last January, but in August, Iranian bank authorities announced that a billion dollars in Indian oil debt had been paid out.

      In der offiziellen Einladung werden die Themen offen angesprochen, die da verhandelt werden sollen: Öl, Gas, Raffinerie,Petrochemie.
      Es schert die Organisatoren dieser dubiosen Veranstaltung  Eivent UG in Gründung offenbar einen Dreck, daß diese Bereiche in der Santionsentscheidung  EU 691/2010, Kapitel II, Artikel 8, 2c, voll unter Sanktionen gestellt wurden und damit jeder Handel rechtlich verboten ist.
      Es juckt sie wohl auch nicht, wenn insbesondere die Provinz Khuzestan und ihre verantwortlichen Vertreter schrecklichste Menschenrechtsverletzungen und Hinrichtungen Oppositioneller erleben.

      ZEIT –       Ökostrom im Iran „Nicht einmal Deutschland hatte so ambitionierte Ziele“ –       Der Energiebedarf Irans steigt. Um ihn zu decken, setzt das Land auch auf Ökostrom. Doch das praktische Know-how fehlt, sagt Forscherin Heike Walk im Interview.
      ZEIT ONLINE: Frau Walk, Iran ist für sein       umstrittenes Atomprogramm und als klassisches Öl-Förderland bekannt. Sie haben den iranischen Energiesektor erforscht. Ihr Ergebnis: Iran baut seine erneuerbaren Energien massiv aus. Will das Land zur grünen Kraft in der Region werden?
      Heike Walk: Dass Iran auf kurze Sicht zu einer grünen Kraft wird, ist der Hoffnung zu viel.       In unserer Studie für das Bundesumweltministerium haben wir allerdings festgestellt, dass Iran große Anstrengungen unternimmt, seinen Energiesektor zu diversifizieren. Einerseits mithilfe der Atomkraft, über die sehr häufig berichtet wird. Andererseits werden aber auch die erneuerbaren Energien ausgebaut. Dieser Weg wird in der Öffentlichkeit jedoch kaum wahrgenommen. 
      Heike Walk ist Politikwissenschaftlerin und arbeitet in der Wissenschaftlichen Leitung vom „      inter 3 Institut für Ressourcenmanagement„.
      ZEIT ONLINE: Was ist der Grund für die Neuorientierung?
      Walk: Die Bevölkerung in Iran wächst stark und die fossilen Energieträger werden ineffizient eingesetzt. Deshalb steigt der Energiebedarf. Ihn allein mit eigenem Öl zu decken, kommt nicht infrage. Iran ist auf die Devisen aus dem Ölexport angewiesen. Deshalb versucht die Regierung, für den inländischen Energiebedarf neue Ideen zu entwickeln…
      ZEIT ONLINE: Kann Iran überhaupt benötigte Technologie importieren? Über dem Land liegt ein Embargo.
      Walk: Das Embargo gilt nicht grundsätzlich für alle Technologie-Importe. Alles, was mit Atomtechnik zu tun hat, darf nicht eingeführt werden. Für Unternehmen, die Windräder nach Iran liefern, gibt es dagegen kein Problem. Es gibt bereits mehrere deutsche Unternehmen, die gerne im Iran investieren würden. Sie brauchen aber die Unterstützung der deutschen Regierung und eine Absicherung, dass die Kooperation auch Bestand hat. Bisher haben vor allem chinesische Unternehmen Windanlagen nach Iran geliefert…
      ZEIT ONLINE: Sie schreiben in Ihrer Studie, dass die erneuerbaren Energien ein Weg sein könnten, Iran vom Atomprogramm abzubringen. Wie soll das funktionieren?
      Walk: Iran fährt zweigleisig, es baut die Atomkraft und die erneuerbaren Energien aus. Welches am Ende das wichtigere Gleis sein wird, ist noch nicht entschieden. Das Atomkraftwerk in Buschehr, das Iran in Betrieb genommen hat, ist kaum der Rede wert. Die Energieerzeugung ist vergleichbar mit der Leistung eines Windparks. Energiepolitik kann in Iran Friedenspolitik sein. Abgesehen von einem harten Kern im politischen Apparat wollen viele Politiker in Iran keinen Ausbau der Atomkraft, sie fürchten die internationalen Konsequenzen. Weite Teile der Bevölkerung sehen das ähnlich, sie könnte man mit einer grüneren Energiepolitik unterstützen. Zukunftsfähigkeit und -verantwortung würden das Bild Irans prägen.
      ZEIT ONLINE: Was kann Deutschland tun, um diesen Kurs zu unterstützen?
      Walk: Ein Großteil der Politiker ist sehr vorsichtig und will überhaupt nicht mit Iran zusammenarbeiten. Unsere Studie ist nur mithilfe einzelner, engagierter Personen im Umweltministerium zu Stande gekommen. Wenn wir einen Wandel in Iran wollen, müssen wir aber bestimmte Kräfte in der Gesellschaft unterstützen und fördern. Vielleicht ist dann auch in Iran so etwas wie ein arabischer Frühling möglich

       Youcef Nadarkhani who was accused of apostasy from Islam still faces death penalty amid new allegations including that he is a „Zionist.“  
      BERLIN – The charge of apostasy from Islam lodged against Iranian Christian cleric Youcef Nadarkhani has been amended to allegations of rape, extortion and national security, CNN reported on Saturday. He still faces the death penalty.       
      Critics of Iran’s judiciary system view the altered charges as a manufactured tactic meant to blunt international criticism of the case targeting Nadarkhani because of his religious activities.       
      Nadarkhani is now confronted with the death penalty because of the new allegations, including that he is a „Zionist.“       
      „His crime is not, as some claim, converting others to Christianity. He is guilty of security-related crimes,“ Gholomali Rezvani, the deputy governor of Gilan province, said, according to the semi-official Fars News Agency.       
      Nadarkhani „is a Zionist and has committed security-related crimes,“ Rezvani said in a separate statement, CNN reported.

        United States, British governments have condemned the planned execution, call on Iran to waive the death penalty for Nadarkhani.
        BERLIN –         An Iranian Christian cleric on death row because of his conversion years ago from Islam prompted the United States and British governments last week to condemn the planned execution and call on Tehran to waive the death penalty.
        Youcef Nadarkhani, who is believed to be either 32 or 34 years old, converted to Christianity at the age of 19. Iranian authorities incarcerated him in 2009 because he questioned Islam as the dominant form of religious instruction in Iran and registered his church in the northwestern city of Rasht.
