𝗕’𝗧𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗺 and another 11 Israeli NGOs display their 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗲-𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 yet again. They actually 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗴𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗿 linked NGOs and terrorists. | Facebook
Take a moment for this to sink next time any of them presents itself as a human rights organization.
This „call“ is ridiculous on several levels:
1. 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗜𝗦 𝗔 𝗦𝗘𝗖𝗨𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗨𝗘, 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗔 𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗭𝗘𝗗 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗦 𝗚𝗔𝗠𝗘:
Why would or should any government care what any of these organizations has to say on a serious security issue??? Designating an entity as a terror group is a serious and lengthy legal process in any country, Israel included.
2. 𝗔𝗡 𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗥𝗘 𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗥𝗢𝗥 𝗡𝗚𝗢 𝗡𝗘𝗧𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞 𝗪𝗔𝗦 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗗:
Israeli Ministry of Defense designated 6 Palestinian so called human rights NGOs as terrorist in November after it had proved that each of them has a strong connection to a terror group PFLP, that they raise European governmental funds for PFLP and help to recruit PFLP members.
3. 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗬 𝗠𝗨𝗥𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗔 𝗧𝗘𝗘𝗡𝗔𝗚𝗘 𝗚𝗜𝗥𝗟:
Several senior employees of these 6 NGOs were arrested for a terror attack in August 2019 in which a 17 years old Rina Shnerb was brutally murdered.
But if what Israeli security forces have to say is not enough to some:
4. 𝗗𝗨𝗧𝗖𝗛 𝗦𝗔𝗬 𝗜𝗧 𝗧𝗢𝗢:
Dutch Ambassador to Israel phoned Rina’s parents 10 days ago to apologize that the Dutch tax payers money went to pay salaries for 2 of the terrorists that killed their daughter and that their own investigation proved extensive ties between the NGOs they funded and PFLP
I am all in favor of a thriving civil society and of a vibrant civil discourse. It is healthy and necessary to have opposing opinions in order to move any discourse forward.
But this?? This is a disgrace for any organization that endeavors to promote human rights.
𝗢𝗽𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝘀𝗿𝗮𝗲𝗹 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿. 𝗜𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁.
The ones B’Tselem and other 11 NGOs are failing the most is the ones they claim to seek to help: Palestinian people because they are pro actively depriving them of their right to have a vibrant civil society!
