New York, NY – A bearded man casually scrawled a swastika in the snow outside a historic Upper East Side synagogue, surveillance video shows.
The incident happened just after 8 a.m. Tuesday outside the Temple Emanu-El on Fifth Ave. near E. 65th St., cops said.
Video released by police on Wednesday shows the suspect, wearing a bucket hat, a fur-lined jacket and a black backpack, walking up to the ornate doors of the massive synagogue.
