Controllers urge Poland to return Holocaust vics’ property | NY Daily News
The heads of the city and state pension funds are calling on Poland to give back property to Holocaust victims who lost their possessions to the Nazis. City Controller Scott Stringer and state Controller Thomas DiNapoli – along with California Treasurer John Chiang – sent a letter to Polish Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz urging restitution.
