Former Jordanian MP Ali Abu Sukkar, the deputy secretary-general of the Islamic Action Front, praised the stabbings and other attacks and said: “If all this has been achieved by a bunch of young men, women, and children, what would happen if even more joined in?” Speaking on the Jordanian Kaifa TV channel on November 10, 2015, Abu Sukkar, who was dismissed from parliament after paying a condolence visit to Abu Mus’ab Al-Zarqawi’s family following his death, said that the Al-Aqsa Mosque was being “defiled” by the “sons of apes and pigs.”
