Galeria Kaufhof, one of Germany’s largest department store chains, has removed Israeli products from its shelves, Channel 10 reports. The decision comes, Channel 10 says, „Following the EU’s decision to mark products from settlements in the West Bank and Golan Heights.“
Galeria Kaufhof has over 100 branches, 21,000 employees and annual sales of €3.1 billion. Channel 10 spoke to the manager of a main branch of Galeria Kaufhof in Munich who said, „The EU is waging a religious war against Israel, it is one big political madness.“
