Four months after an Iranian missile struck Soroka Medical Center, the government on Sunday approved a NIS 360 million ($110 million) budget to rebuild and fortify the hospital.
The decision, passed unanimously, will fund the construction of a new fortified inpatient tower called the Rebirth Building at the only tertiary hospital in southern Israel.
