Holocaust Survivor’s daughter leads StandWithUs | San Diego Jewish World

AN DIEGO – As the daughter of Holocaust survivors, Roz Rothstein was galvanized into responding to the anti-Jewish violence of the Second Intifada and especially to the mutilation murders discovered on May 8, 2001 of teenagers Koby Mandell, 13, and Yosef Ishran, 14. The boys had hiked in the Judean Desert near their homes in Tekoa the day before, and were found in a blood-smeared cave so badly beaten and tortured that dental records were needed to confirm their identification.
