WASHINGTON – The US House of Representatives voted on Thursday to remove Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minnesota) from the House Foreign Affairs Committee. The vote was approved along party lines, 218-211.
Republicans argued that Omar should be removed for past comments against Israel and the use of antisemitic tropes.
