Racism in all its forms is always a problem for everyone, especially the racist himself, and not just for the victim. But since the creation of Israel, antisemitism is a greater problems for non-Jews than for Jews. It is Europeans who have to live in the racist society they allow to be created, Jews can move to Israel.
The idea that Sweden of all places should host a conference against antisemitism is laughable. Will they police their streets so that Jews can actually visit the conference or will this be like the women’s rights conferences in the Arab world and simply be a conference of perpetrators discussing how, depending on temperament, they are either innocent of or justified in their words and actions?
My guess is that the conference will conclude that antisemitism is on the retreat and that Israel is to blame for whatever antisemitism might come up occasionally.
