Re ” Abbas, Netanyahu and Oslo: The Palestinian View ” (letter, Oct. 6): Maen Rashid Areikat, the chief Palestinian representative to the United States, continues to ignore Palestinian responsibility for the failure to achieve peace with Israel. The Palestinians remain in material breach of their core Oslo commitment to renounce terrorism.
