The Unique Status of the Jerusalem Suburb of Wadi Hummus | Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs
- Wadi Hummus is a neighborhood in the southern Jerusalem Arab village of Sur Baher. The inclusion of the neighborhood of about 4,000 people within the Israeli security fence was done at the request of the local residents.
- According to the IDF, in the area along the security fence where construction is prohibited, 97 illegal structures have been built over the past eight years.
