Eilat’s coral reefs foster a thriving underwater ecosystem––it’s no surprise that the reefs are one of Israel’s most popular tourist destinations.
One year ago, following a severe storm, part of a coral reef collapsed. Over the last few months, divers from the Israeli Navy including the Snapir Unit, Red Sea Arena, and YALTAM special forces worked underwater every day to restore the coral reef.
