While much of the world is busy criticizing Israel for trying to destroy Hamas’ terror infrastructure in the Gaza Strip in order to prevent a repetition of the massacre in Israel on Oct. 7, almost no attention is given to Hamas’ repeated statements of its goal to destroy Israel entirely or Hamas’ intentional use of civilians as human shields.

Released hostages Maya and and her younger brother Itay Regev spoke about their time in Hamas captivity in Gaza and their desire for their friend, Omer, to be freed, in a video posted to X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday by Bring Them Home Now.
“My name is Maya Regev. I was taken hostage with my younger brother and one of my best friends,” Maya explains.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov demanded the release of hostages held in Gaza in telephone calls on Sunday and Monday with Hamas and other Palestinian factions, the Russian foreign ministry said.
The statement followed a series of meetings and calls between President Vladimir Putin and Middle East leaders in the past week.

They are living proof (at least for now) that kids in Gaza, as in the PA areas, are taught that death as a “Martyr” is an ideal, and that seeking death in confrontations with Israel is what is expected of them. This is further stressed by the fact that an adult is heard encouraging the children in the background and chanting the slogan together with them.

Israel, not the US, will decide when to end its war against Hamas in Gaza, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Sunday, in the wake of reports that Washington has been exerting pressure on Israel to wrap up operations by the end of the year.
Speaking to CNN’s Jake Tapper about the war, which has entered its third month, Blinken said that the US has been conducting discussions with Israel about its “duration” as well as “how it’s prosecuting this campaign against Hamas.”
