BDS resolution nullified by Spanish Court in SpainThe Contentious Administrative Court number 3 of Alicante has annulled the boycott against Israel approved by the City Hall of Parcent (Valencia region).
Following ACOM’s legal actions, the Plenary of the Parcent Council (population of 1,000, in the east of Spain) has approved the withdrawal of its adhesion to the anti-Semitic bds movement in July 2018, committed to discriminating Israeli companies and people, as well as non-Israeli organizations or persons supporting the Jewish state.
After submitting an administrative appeal against the statement of the City Council of Parcent endorsing the boycott campaign that were passed at a plenary session in July 2018, the Council of Parcent has accepted in full the grounds of ACOMꞌs claim as the boycott is in clear breach of civil liberties.
