Israel’s coronavirus cabinet voted late on Wednesday to open the country’s sky for travelers starting from August 16.
The vote, which reportedly followed five long hours of discussions, also saw the weekend restrictions on business activities lifted.
Israel’s pointman for coronavirus response, Prof. Ronni Gamzu, made the case for avoiding a full national lockdown as well as removing the weekend limitations.
