Germany’s antisemitism commissioner Dr. Felix Klein, said Saturday that applying the framework of apartheid to discuss Israel’s treatment of Palestinians is “an antisemitic narrative” in an interview with one of the country’s most widely read newspapers.
During the interview on Die Welt’s weekend edition, Welt Am Sonntag, Klein had responded to Middle East scholar, Muriel Assenburg, who said that Israel is „prima facie committing the crime of apartheid in the occupied territories.“
