Germany’s Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel on Tuesday warned against a unilateral American recognition of Jerusalem as the Israeli capital. Speaking at a conference in Berlin, Gabriel added a fierce statement to his warning, saying that Germany would have to “spell out where the limits” of its solidarity stood.

Sigmar Gabriel mal wieder. Nein, als guter Deutscher kann und darf er nicht einfach mal schweigen. Er muss klarstellen, dass Freundschaft und Solidarität nur innerhalb scharf abgegrenzter - immer kleiner werdenden - Grenzen möglich ist. Bei seinem Lobbyismus für den Iran und für andere Feinde Israels gibt es solche Grenzen natürlich nicht. Sollte es zu eine GroKo kommen, hoffen wir auf Gabriels Versprechen, dass er für keine weitere Amtszeit zu Verfügung steht, zählen zu dürfen, wobei zu bezweifeln ist, dass eine Andrea Nahles, deren Aussagen bezüglich ihrer Freundschaft und Nähe zur Fatah unvergessen sind, besser sein würde. Aber vielleicht gibt es ja auch noch andere Alternativen...
