    His methodology is faulty. Every scholar of migration historically and currently has found that migrants are not drawn from the poorest and worst educated parts of the sending region–they are better off and better educated than the average. So arguing from the average from Syria, for example, greatly underestimates the educational achievement of the average Syrian migrant in Europe. This „education-economist“ is just blowing smoke and demonstrating his own ignorance.
