President Donald J. Trump’s Vision for Peace, Prosperity, and a Brighter Future for Israel and the Palestinian People | The White House
- This Vision is the most serious, realistic, and detailed plan ever presented, one that could make Israelis, Palestinians, and the region safer and more prosperous.
- This Vision is just the first step and provides the basis for historic progress toward peace. The United States hopes this Vision will lead to direct negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians.
- It will be up to Israeli and Palestinian leaders to take courageous and bold actions to end the political stalemate, resume negotiations on the basis of this Vision, and make lasting peace and economic prosperity a reality.
- If the Palestinians have concerns with this Vision, they should bring them forth in the context of good-faith negotiations with the Israelis and help make progress for the region.
- Mere opposition to this Vision is simply a declaration of support for the hopeless status quo that is the product of decades of stale thinking.

Arsen Ostrovsky: „Well, there you have it, the ‚Deal of the Century‘ (or at least the summary … the plan itself is 181 pages).
Those who have reflexively slammed the deal, clearly did not watch the press conference or read the plan. Their minds were made up long ago.
In short, the plan proposed is fair, is just & gives hope to BOTH Israelis & Palestinians. As far as I’m concerned, it sufficiently covers our basic rights and security needs, and only allows for establishment of Palestinian state upon them meeting very strict criteria (not other way around, as international community has traditionally insisted).
Now, Israel said Yes (both Netanyahu and Gantz). As we have said Yes to every reasonable peace plan that has ever been proposed.
Reality however is, and history has repeated itself time and time again, the Palestinians ’never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity.‘ I am certain they will formally reject it, because let’s face it, at end of day, they seek not peace, but the indefinite perpetuation of this conflict and our destruction.
In the meantime, I think we owe a great debt of gratitude to President Trump, in whom Israel truly has never had such friend at the White House, committed to our security and the U.S. – Israel alliance.“
