Under the U.N.’s own rules, fact-finders are required to be impartial and free of bias. Yet William Schabas, the newly-appointed Chair of the UN Human Rights Council’s inquiry on Gaza, is the exact opposite. He has made numerous and repeated prejudicial statements against Israel. Schabas said that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is his „favorite“ to put „in the dock of the International Criminal Court.” He called for the court to „go after“ former Israeli President Shimon Peres for “war crimes.“ Meanwhile, he refuses to consider Hamas a terrorist group. Stop the madness: Urge world leaders to remove Schabas immediately.
