Israeli fire brigade planes and personnel arrived in Greece on Thursday following an aid request from the Mediterranean state. The Israeli firefighting operation has been dubbed “Operation Firebirds.”
The operation was announced by a joint press release on Thursday from the National Security Ministry, Israel Police, Israel Fire and Rescue Authority, Foreign Affairs Ministry, and the IDF.
