In Jerusalem, nothing is quite as it seems, and the complex relationships among communities can change rapidly. “State of Jerusalem” is a three-part miniseries that describes relationships among the various communities in Israel’s capital.
In this episode, the second in the series: Where did Jerusalem’s Christians go? Before the birth of Israel, fully a quarter of the city’s population was Christian. Today, they are a small minority.
The series, originally released in Hebrew, was created by Eiv Kristal and Natan Odenheimer and co-produced with Kan (the Israel Public Broadcasting Corporation). It was adapted to English by The Times of Israel.

The judges noted the Israeli liquor's “fruity aromas, with a zest of citrus and white peach and a hint of wood varnish.”
In an interview with Channel 14 two weeks ago that circulated online Monday, Levin said that while many arguments against his proposals were baseless, he accepted a charge critics made against the original judicial appointments bill, which would have handed the coalition an automatic majority on the panel that chooses judges: that such a change would “lead to a situation in which all three branches of government become one branch.”

Schlimm!
"It sounds weird to us. But in Israelis' conversations with political parties in the West, their deep concern emerges about the possibility that, if the coup d'état in Israel succeeds, a messianic dictatorship will be established in the heart of the Middle East, possessing nuclear weapons, and which fanatically wishes for a confrontation with Islam centered on the Temple Mount. In their eyes - it's really scary. It's not going to happen. Have a happy holiday," Barak wrote.

“It is with disappointment and sadness, but an enduring determination, that I can confirm that the current Israeli government has dismissed me as Special Envoy for Combating Antisemitism and the Delegitimization of Israel,” Tishby said in a notice she posted on her Twitter account.

Re: Theresienstadt und das Lager – Maroder Gedenkort oder lebenswerte Stadt? – Die ganze Doku | ARTE

London mal wieder... 🙁
The Jewish Community of Bosnia Herzegovina group acquired a 7,500 square foot space in downtown Sarajevo in the fall, with the hopes of turning the eventual archive into a museum.
Images of the projection were broadcast on a private U.S. Telegram channel. The message alluded to a far-right conspiracy theory that Anne Frank did not write the famous diary which was turned into an international best-seller.
