Nahostkonflikt
After a two-year hiatus in the yearly hate-fest against Israel and America—due to the COVID-19 pandemic—attendees were especially itching to spew vitriol on the one hand and champion the Palestinians on the other.

Israeli Judoka Raz Hershko won her first-ever medal on Sunday, scoring the silver in the over 78-kilogram weight class. The 23-years-old Judoka ended up losing in the finals to France's Romane Dicko, who scored an ippon, which automatically grants a fighter the win, a minute and a half before the end of official time.

“Iran also continued to spread antisemitism," the report said. "It released the results of its third Holocaust denial cartoon contest in January. Several submissions critical of Israel contained explicitly antisemitic tropes. In December, a state media outlet criticized a Shab-e Yalda display reminiscent of a Jewish Sukkah as a ‘distortion.’”

Tel Aviv City Hall announced on Sunday the cancellation of its traditional Independence Day fireworks display, in part because of military veterans who have post-traumatic stress disorder.
The fireworks, which are usually fired from the roof of the city hall, are a significant event in the celebrations, with thousands of people gathering in Rabin Square to enjoy the show.
That includes nearly 7.02 million Jews, accounting for 73.9 percent of the population; 2 million Arabs, just over one-fifth of the population; and 478,000 members of other groups, amounting to 5% of the population.
Innenpolitik
Over the past eight decades, Waksal wondered if his friend and fellow Jewish prisoner survived the war. On March 20, he finally got his answer: Remarkably, yes.
On February 28, Natalie Shclover entered the Homer Babbidge Library, where she saw, tacked on the walls and scattered all over the floors, hundreds of flyers showing a map of Israel juxtaposed with an image of a child being strangled and a picture of university president Radenka Maric.
