The Sea of Galilee, Israel’s largest freshwater body, is currently host to a world class carp fishing competition.
The event, hosted by the Israeli Carp Fishing Association, features 14 teams that hail from the US, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Israel. The teams are each allocated a fishing space where they can also pitch their tents and build fires to keep warm.
