Germany is suspected of instructing its diplomats in Israel not to take photographs in the Old City of Jerusalem, which they consider "occupied Palestinian territory."
Israel Hayom has learned that on two occasions in the recent past, diplomats staying at the King David Hotel in the capital refused to take photographs with the walls of the Old City in the background.

Witness the incredible story of the liberation of Jerusalem: 56 years ago, it was a city occupied by Jordanian control determined to keep it in their control.
But today, after years of struggles and hard-fought battles, Jerusalem stands as a proud symbol of freedom for the people of Israel. Happy Jerusalem Day!

The Israeli Consulate in Atlanta plans to send a letter of complaint to CNN after host Christiane Amanpour said last week that members of the Dee family were “killed in a shootout.”
“The mother and two Israel-British sisters – they were killed in a shootout,” Amanpour said, seemingly implying that the victims of terror were also shooting.
On May 14, 2018, something incredible happened. The United States finally opened our embassy in Jerusalem, 23 years after we first promised to do so.
This was an important moment for Israel. But it was just as important for America. It showed that we keep our word, stand with our allies and put our own interests and principles ahead of the world's demands.

Both Hannan Abu-Hussein and Maria Salah Mahameed were born in Umm al-Fahm, a northern Arab city that has become something of a hub for emerging Arab art. Both have been creating art since they can remember, both attended art school, both earned degrees and both are finding their complicated way as Arab women artists in the mostly Jewish Israeli art world.

The ADL Audit of Antisemitic Incidents found, on average, 10 incidents for each day in 2022 – the highest level of antisemitic activity since ADL started keeping records in 1979 – following an upward trendline of hate and vitriol directed against the American Jewish community over the last five years. This is the third time in the past five years that the year-end total has been the highest number ever recorded.
