US President Joe Biden is angry at Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and has called him an "as***le" in private conversations due to military disagreements over the Gaza war, NBC reported on Monday.
On other occasions, the President referred to Netanyahu as "this guy" and stated the Israeli Prime Minister was "giving him hell," for disagreeing to the ceasefire deal, sources familiar with the conversations told NBC.

Hamas's armed wing claimed on Monday that three of eight Israeli hostages who were seriously injured following Israeli airstrikes had died from their wounds.
"The al-Qassam Brigades announce the killing of three of the eight Zionist detainees who we announced yesterday were seriously injured in the barbaric Zionist raids on the Gaza Strip," the Al Qassam Brigades said on Hamas's Telegram channel. Wann immer sich Menschen in Deutschland und Österreich bemüßigt fühlen, die vom muslimischen Antisemitismus ausgehende Gefahr zu leugnen oder kleinzureden, verweisen sie auf offizielle Statistiken. Aus denen soll hervorgehen, dass die überwältigende Mehrheit antisemitischer Straftaten nicht auf das Konto von Muslimen gehe, sondern dem rechten politischen Spektrum zuzuordnen wäre.
Dieser Tag ist wieder öfter zu hören, Bildung schütze vor Antisemitismus oder mache diesen zumindest weniger wahrscheinlich. Betrachtet man allerdings die Geschichte des modernen Antisemitismus gerade in Deutschland, so war dieser mit Wilhelm Marr, Heinrich von Treitschke oder dem Berliner Antisemitismusstreit anfänglich geradezu eine Art Elitenprojekt. Dass zu seinen Hochburgen anfänglich ausgerechnet die Universitäten (und Studentenverbindungen wie die Burschenschaften) gehörten, zeigt, dass dieses Argument leider nicht verfängt. Selbstverständlich ist Bildung im Kampf gegen Judenhass wichtig, aber man muss sich über deren Grenzen im Klaren sein, wie kürzlich Stephan Grigat, Leiter des Centrums für Antisemitismus- und Rassismusstudien an der Katholischen Hochschule Nordrhein-Westfalen, in einem lesenswerten Interview betonte.

The German city of Dortmund played host to the inaugural conference of European mayors dedicated to combating antisemitism, an event organized by the global Combat Antisemitism Movement. The three-day conference held last week saw the participation of over 100 delegates from more than 60 countries, including over 30 mayors. The agenda included a variety of panels aimed at addressing antisemitism. This gathering provided a valuable platform to engage with local officials across the continent about the status of Jewish communities in their respective cities.
