Aktivisten von STOP THE BOMB haben heute, zwei Tage vor dem Jahrestag des Beginns der Proteste anlässlich der gefälschten Präsidentschaftswahlen im Iran, beim Exporttag der Wirtschaftskammer in Wien gegen Geschäfte mit dem iranischen Regime protestiert. Sie konfrontierten am Stand der Außenhandelsstelle Teheran sowohl den österreichischen Handelsdelegierten Michael Friedl als auch am Iran-Handel interessierte Geschäftsleute mit ihrer Kritik. Im Zuge dieser Gespräche gaben Vertreter der Wirtschaftskammer zu, dass man nicht ausschliessen könne, im Rahmen der österreichischen Iran-Geschäfte auch mit den Revolutionsgarden in Kontakt kommen, die mittlerweile große Teile des iranischen Außenhandels kontrollieren.

JP Hamburg mosque hosts pro-Iran event German official: „30 pro-Iranian Hizbullah meet in the Islamic Center.“
BERLIN – The Imam Ali Mosque in Hamburg hosted a conference last week supportive of the regime of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and with the participation of advocates of revolutionary Islam.
Manfred Murck, a spokesman for the Hamburg Office for the Protection of the Constitution (Verfassungschutz), the domestic intelligence agency, told The Jerusalem Post on Friday that there are „roughly 30 members of pro-Iranian Hizbullah“ in Hamburg „who meet in the Islamic Center Hamburg.“
Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, appointed the director of the Islamic Center Hamburg, which is part of the Imam Ali Mosque. The mosque’s imam, Ayatollah Reza Ramezani, used his platform to call for participation at the 2009 Al-Quds Day, an anti-West and anti-Israeli hate festival, whose goal is the „liberation of Jerusalem from the Zionist system.“

BERLIN – Customs officials arrested German businessmen in a German airport recently on their way to deliver unlawful nuclear technology for the Bushehr nuclear power plant in southern Iran, Reuters and The Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday.
However, Rüdiger Hagen, a spokesman for the German customs control agency’s criminal division, told The Jerusalem Post there was „no ongoing investigation that can be attributed to“ Bushehr, the city on the southwestern coast of Iran where a nuclear power plant is being built in cooperation with Russia.

Tehran said it hoped that a trilateral summit between Iran, Brazil and Turkey at the weekend would lead to finalization of a uranium exchange deal, the news network Khabar reported Thursday.
„Brazilian President (Luiz Inacio) Lula da Silva and Turkish Prime Minister (Recep Tayyip) Erdogan have had sufficient talks with the world powers, including China, Russia and the United States over the nuclear issue,“ Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said on Khabar.
„Therefore, we hope that the trilateral summit will lead to the finalization of the uranium exchange deal,“ Mottaki added….

Iran’s navy, which is conducting military manoeuvres in the Persian Gulf, test fired domestically built anti-submarine torpedoes, state-run Press TV reported on Monday.
The torpedoes were fired on Sunday from the 1,420-ton warship, Jamaran, which was deployed this year, the news channel said….
